You can get from Brussels to Bruges via train (1hr) or car (1hr15min). It's the cutest town that has so much to offer when walking around to explore. Don't underestimate doing a walking tour or a boat tour! Personal favourites in Bruges are the Boniface Bridge, House of Waffles, or doing a guided tour of De Halve Maan brewery.

Au Vieux Saint Martin: Located in one of our favourite areas of Brussels. Bastian recommends their famous Filet Américain. Krista loves the Niçoise Salad.

Tatar: located in our other favourite neighbourhood with an amazing rotating menu. (Bonus points: Bastian's younger brother owns it!)

Yamayu Santatsu: if you like Japanese food you NEED to go here.

Batch: great for brunch, great for dinner, great for vibes.

Bois de la Cambre: Brussels' biggest park

Parc Léopold: grab some fries from Maison Antoine (you're in the land of Mussels and Frites after all) and walk around this cute area. Bonus points if you see Krista's favourite bird, the Egyptian Goose Duck.

The Square du Petit Sablon and the Église Notre-Dame des Victoires au Sablon: out of all the churches in Brussels, this is our favourite. Our second favourite is the St. Michael & St. Gudula Cathedral.
